Ziad Elsissy Wins Bronze at the Italian World Cup

Padua, Italy (March 1-3, 2024) — Ziad Elsissy likes the number three.

Finishing with the bronze medal at the Trophée Luxardo, the Italian World Cup in Padua, cements his third-place position in world rankings.

The Olympian, representing Egypt, and Tim Morehouse Fencing Club coach faced his teammate Eli Dershwitz on his road to victory in a close elimination bout.

Also competing for Egypt was TMFC Coach Mohamed Amer, who finished in 65th place.

In the men’s Team Competition, Team Egypt finished in 11th place.
