FENCING PROGRAMS - midtown EAST (MANHATTAN)
LEARN FENCING FROM CHAMPIONS
Tim Morehouse Fencing Club at 235 East 49th Street (EST. 2024)
In June 2024, TMFC proudly moved into the historic facility at 235 East 49th Street. Long a fixture of the East Side, the space was home to the Children’s Athletic Training School (CATS) for over 40 years. Before that, it operated as one of New York’s first personal training gyms — the Sports Training Institute — frequented by Mayor Koch and notable public figures.
TMFC revitalized this historic space to bring fencing back to the neighborhood. Today, students train after school with Olympians and elite coaches in a welcoming environment built to develop nationally and internationally competitive athletes.
