Olympian-trained coaches run fencing games and friendly matches all party long. The grand finale: the birthday kid fences a gold-medal match against our coach, right before cake.

FAQ
Common Questions
What ages are the parties for?
Ages 5 to 14. Younger kids (5 to 6) use foam foils that look real but are completely safe. Ages 7 and up use blunted steel foils. They feel like real fencing, because they are.
How many kids can come?
Silver includes 10 kids, Gold includes 15 kids. Each additional kid is $20. Hard caps apply based on coach-to-child supervision ratios.
What do the kids wear?
Comfortable athletic clothes, sneakers, and long socks. Sweatpants and a t-shirt work perfectly. Please no shorts or skirts. Fencing jackets fit better over pants. We provide all fencing gear on top.
Is fencing safe for first-timers?
Very. Fencing has one of the lowest injury rates of any youth sport. Every child is fully suited (mask, jacket, gloves) before touching a foil, and our coaches run a safety brief and supervised drills before any bouting begins. Zero injuries to date.
Do parents need to stay?
For kids ages 7 and up, parents can drop off. For ages 6 and under, at least one parent per child stays through the party.
Can we arrive early to set up?
Yes. You can arrive up to one hour before your party starts to set up decorations, bring in your own cake, and prep the party space. The room will be ready when you get there.
What about food?
We provide tables, tablecloths, chairs for guests, plates, and plastic utensils. You handle the food: order the pizza, bring the cake, and bring any snacks you want for the kids. You can arrive up to one hour before your party to set up and decorate.
Accommodation needs?
Tell us on the booking form. We have run parties for kids with autism, ADHD, and physical mobility needs. Our lead coach is briefed 48 hours before every party, and we adapt the fencing format rather than excluding anyone.
What if we need to reschedule?
Life happens. Reschedule once for free with 7 or more days notice. Closer to the date, a small rebooking fee applies.
Can we do a weekday party?
Weekends only. East Side is fully available all day Sunday. Other clubs host weekend afternoons starting at 3pm.
How far in advance do I need to book?
Minimum 14 days out. Sundays at East Side book 6 to 8 weeks ahead. Book early if you want a specific weekend.
