The Experience

This Isn't Just a
Summer Camp

TMFC Summer Camp is where young athletes build real fencing skills, develop confidence, and train under the same coaches who've produced national champions. Every week is designed around structured progression — not babysitting with swords.

01
Olympic-Level Coaching
Every session is coached by Olympic medalists and nationally ranked instructors. The same coaches who train elite competitors are teaching your child the fundamentals — correctly, from day one.
02
Real Skill Progression
Each week follows a structured curriculum from foundations through competition. Campers don't just play — they improve measurably, building technique and tactical thinking that carries into the school year.
03
8:1 Personalized Attention
Small group ratios mean every camper gets individual feedback, corrections, and encouragement. Beginners learn at their pace. Experienced fencers are pushed to the next level.
04
Confidence Beyond the Strip
Fencing teaches focus, resilience, and sportsmanship. Parents consistently tell us their kids return to school more confident, more disciplined, and asking to come back next summer.

Camp FAQ

Everything you need to know before enrolling

Does my child need fencing experience?
+

Not at all! Many of our campers are trying fencing for the first time. Camps are grouped by skill level, so beginners get proper instruction while experienced fencers continue to develop. Our 8:1 student-to-coach ratio ensures every child gets personalized attention.

What equipment does my child need?
+

We provide all fencing equipment — mask, jacket, glove, chest protector, body cords, and weapon. Equipment rental is included for Promo Week campers and Gold Summer Pass holders. All other campers can rent a full designated equipment set for $65/week or $125 for the entire summer. Each camper gets their own assigned set for the week — equipment is not shared. Your child just needs athletic clothing (long pants, sneakers — no shorts or sandals).

What are camp hours? Is there early drop-off or late pick-up?
+

Camp runs Monday through Friday. June hours are 9:30am–3:00pm; July and August hours are 10:00am–4:00pm. Early drop-off and late pick-up options are available at select locations. Contact us at info@timmorehousefencing.com for details.

What should my child bring for lunch?
+

Campers should pack their own lunch and snacks. We have a fridge on site to keep food cold. Please do not pack any peanut-based foods — we maintain a peanut-free environment to protect campers with allergies. Bring a water bottle too!

Can my child switch weeks or get a refund?
+

Camp weeks are non-refundable, but we allow students to switch to a different available week within the summer. Any unused camp days or weeks expire at the end of the summer season.

My child is a competitive fencer — is camp appropriate for them?
+

Absolutely. Our coaching staff provides different instruction and groupings for competitive fencers. Camp includes competitive-level drills, tactical sessions, and bouting against other experienced fencers. Email info@timmorehousefencing.com to discuss your child's specific level.

What happens on Fridays?
+

Every Friday features our Friday Finale Tournament and Medal Ceremony. Campers compete in a structured tournament, and families are invited to watch and celebrate their child's progress. It's one of the highlights of every camp week!
