Ages 6–12
Youth Fencing
Beginner through advanced youth pathways that build confidence, coordination, focus and real fencing skills.
Youth & teen beginners
Starter Programs
A welcoming introduction for new youth and teen fencers, with group classes, individual pull-out lessons and rental equipment included.
Ages 4–5
Squires
Play-based small-group and private instruction for the youngest athletes, with equipment provided.
Ages 13–18
Teen Fencing
Supportive beginner and intermediate training with technical drills, strategy and friendly competition.
Adults 18+
Adult Fencing
Beginner-friendly adult classes and private lessons, with flexible session packs. Check your location for available class times and weapons.
By coach evaluation
Elite Programs
Advanced saber, foil and épée training for athletes pursuing higher-level competition and collegiate goals.
Saber Bronze starts at $599 every 4 weeks; Silver is $799 and Gold is $899. Rates and inclusions differ by weapon. Compare 12-week, half-season and annual payment options on the full tuition and payment page.

Questions before you register?
These are the most common questions families ask when choosing a fall fencing program.
Can I still register after fall classes have started?
The 2026–27 season began September 1, 2026. Check current openings through registration or with the TMFC team before choosing a start date. Availability depends on the program, location and class time.
Can my child join with no fencing experience?
Yes. First-time fencers can begin with a trial lesson or a Youth & Teen Starter Program. The starter pack is $499 for four group classes and four pull-out lessons, with rental equipment included.
How much do fall fencing classes cost?
Youth and teen saber programs are $599 for Bronze, $799 for Silver or $899 for Gold every four weeks by credit card. Squires and Adult Flex each offer 10 sessions for $850 by credit card or $750 by check. Prices differ by program and weapon; see the complete tuition and payment options for 12-week, half-season and annual plans.
Which program is right for my child?
Squires is designed for ages 4–5, Youth Fencing for ages 6–12, and Teen Fencing for ages 13–18. Starter Programs introduce new youth and teen fencers to the sport. Advanced competitive athletes join Elite Programs by coach evaluation.
