TMFC Fencers Earn Gold for Team USA

Budapest, Hungary (March 23-24, 2024) — Tim Morehouse Fencing Club is shining on the world stage.

TMFC fencers Eli Dershwitz OLY and Filip Dolegiewicz are integral parts of the Team USA saber team which brought home another gold medal at the recent FIE World Cup.

Team USA secured its spot for the Paris Olympics earlier this month. Each competition going forward allows the team to improve its seeding for Paris.

Individually, Dershwitz finished in 11th place, and Dolegiewicz finished in 101st.

These fencers will compete again at the April NAC and Division I National Championships in Salt Lake City where selection of the US National Team selections will be finalized. On the world stage, they will compete at the Seoul Grand Prix, May 4–6.
