Tim Morehouse Foil Fencers at the Washington Grand Prix

Washington, D.C. (March 15-18, 2024) — The first international Grand Prix held in the US in recent years brought out the world’s best.

The top men’s and women’s foil fencers from around the world converged on Washington, DC, for the 2024 Absolute Fencing Gear FIE Foil Grand Prix. Among them were the top world fencers Lee Keifer and Nick Itkin, both of whom won gold medals.

Tim Morehouse Fencing Club was represented by a collection of international fencers. In Senior Grand Prix Men's Foil. Coach Essam Mohamed (Egypt) finished 70th, Nickolas Rusadze (USA) finished 144th and Coach Eddie Grigoryev (Kazikstan) finished 190th.

In the Women’s Grand Prix, TMFC fencers Sabrina Fang (Canada) tied at 146 and Amelia Whelan (Australia) tied at 163rd.
