Port Chester, NY — Ranked sixth in the country on the Y-10 Women’s Foil standings, Amabel Wang at one point was the youngest person in the country to hold a rating. What you love about fencing: I make lots of friends across the country from fencing.

Favorite tournament/bout and why: At the March 2023 NAC, in the Y-12 Women’s Foil event, I was fencing a very tough opponent. Slava helped me win the bout by a big margin.

Interests outside of fencing: I like to play with my iPad and play with Phoebe, my dog.
