TMFC Saber Fencers Shaun Kim, Robert Wang win Junior Olympic Medals

Denver, CO (February 17-20, 2023) — Shaun Kim and Robert Wang are Junior Olympic medalists.

The young saber fencers from Tim Morehouse Fencing Club came out on top of hundreds of the country’s best fencers to walk away with hardware.

Wang took a fifth-place medal in the Cadet Men’s Saber event on Friday, coming out on the top of a pool that contained 265 fencers.

Kim tied for third place Saturday, earning a bronze medal in the Junior Men’s Saber event that contained over 300 fencers.

Both fencers earned their A23 ratings.
