TMFC Fencers Kai Toomre and Connor Chung Conquered the SYC of the Rockies

Denver, CO (October 14-17, 2022) — Tim Morehouse saber fencers conquered the Rockies — not the mountains but the SYC.

Traveling to the Denver area, Y-12 foil fencer Kai Toomre earned a bronze medal and national points. Teammate Ethan Chen also competed in Y-12 Men’s Foil, finishing 27th.

In Y-14 Men’s Saber, Connor Chung fought to earn a seventh place medal.

Later in the weekend, Toomre and Chen competed in Y-14 Men’s Foil, finishing 19th and 26th, respectively.
