TMFC: LET’S GO! Season #11 Begins!

Coming off an incredible summer, we’re ready to kick off our 11th season at Tim Morehouse Fencing Club!

New fencers. Returning champions. An incredible international coaching staff. Bigger goals. And more opportunities than ever for our students.

From a young fencer stepping onto the strip for the first time to athletes pursuing national championships, college recruitment and Olympic dreams, we’re excited for what’s ahead.

Coming Off an Incredible Summer

TMFC enters its 11th season with tremendous momentum following an incredible summer highlighted by our Sleep-Away Fencing Camp, which has quickly become one of the most effective fencing camps in the country for college recruitment and exposure.

College coaches from Columbia, Harvard, Princeton, Northwestern, Cornell and Yale attended the camp this summer, giving TMFC athletes an extraordinary opportunity to train, compete and connect with coaches from some of the top collegiate fencing programs in the country.

Most importantly, five TMFC students received official college visits following the summer — an incredible milestone for the athletes and another example of the pathway TMFC is building from youth fencing through elite competition and college recruitment.

The summer was equally exciting at the beginning of that pathway. TMFC welcomed an incredible number of new youth fencers into the sport through our summer programs and camps, many of whom we are excited to officially welcome into the TMFC community this fall.

From young athletes picking up a saber, foil or epee for the first time to high school fencers taking major steps toward their college fencing goals, it was a summer that represented what TMFC is all about: building lifelong fencers and creating opportunities at every stage of their journey.
