Ziad Elsissy Wins Gold at the Seoul Grand Prix, Filip Dolegiewicz Earns Bronze

Seoul, Korea ( May 4, 2024) — Ziad Elsissy is on top of the world!

In the last Grand Prix leading up to the Paris Olympics, Elsissy took the top spot, the first time for an Egyptian saber fencer.

The latest US Olympian, Filip Dolegiewicz earned a bronze medal in hot competition.

Rounding out the fencers from Tim Morehouse Fencing Club, current world champion Eli Dershwitz finished in 17th place and Egyptian team member Coach Mohammed Ammer finished in 56th place.
