Team USA Finishes World Cup Season With Gold

Madrid, Spain (May 17-19, 2024) — Tim Morehouse coaches were smashing in the final World Cup of the season.

In a one-two finish, Team USA , with coaches Eli Dershwitz and Filip Dolegiewicz representing, won a gold medal. Taking the silver medal was Team Egypt with coaches Ziad Elsissy and Mohamed Amer powering the team.

In the individual competition, Elsissy took fifth place. Dershwitz finished in 17th place. Dolegiewicz and Amer both finished in the top 64. And Shaun Kim, making his debut on the World Cup circuit, finished in 182nd place.

Congratulations to these fencers and a great thanks for what you’ve shared with the young fencers at Tim Morehouse Fencing Club.

Team Egypt won silver.
