Congratulations Junior and Cadet World Championship Fencers

Marcus Pinto, Shaun Kim and Robert Wang

Riyadh, Saudi Arabia (April 12-20, 2024)— Tim Morehouse Fencing Club fencers shone on the world stage.

TMFC fencers, representing three different countries, endured long flights, delays and unprecedented rain storms to compete at the Junior and Cadet World Championships.

Junior Women’s Foil started the event and TMFC was represented by Team Canada’s Sabrina Fang. She finished in 71st place overall. In the teams competition, Team Canada finished in ninth place.

There were three Tim Morehouse fencers in the Cadet Men’s Saber event. Marcus Pinto fenced for Brazil and finished in 90th place.

Team USA’s Shaun Kim narrowly missed the top-32, finishing in 37 place.

Tame USA’s Robert Wang made the top-16, grinding it out to finish in 11th place.

Congratulations to these fencers on their accomplishments.
