Ziad Elsissy Rises to #3 in the World Saber Rankings

New York, NY — Ziad Elsissy is on top of the world.

The Tim Morehouse Fencing Club fencer rose to #3 on the FIE world rankings for men’s saber.

Elsissy, who fences for Team Egypt, finished in fifth place over the weekend at the Tbilisi Men’s Saber World Cup. This, combined with his stellar performance throughout this Olympic-qualifying season, boosted him to his personal best.

Team Egypt, which includes Tim Morehouse fencer Amer Mohamed, finished in sixth place in Tbilisi.
