New York City's Aram Clark Wins Gold at the Pan American Youth Games

Montevideo, Uruguay (August 14-18, 2023) — Aram Clark is an international gold medalist.

The Tim Morehouse Fencing Club fencer competed internationally in the Pre-Cadet category at the Pan American Youth Games and came away a gold medalist. In fact, the US delegation took the top five places in the Men’s Pre-Cadet event.

The Clark, who usually fences in the Y-12 and Y-14 Men’s Saber events in the US, trains with Coach Tim and Coach Iba. He was joined in the Pre-Cadet category by youth fencer Marcus Pinto, who finished fifth.

Pinto’s father, Augusto Pinto also represented the US in the Pre-Veteran Men’s Saber event, taking eighth place.
