Edison, NJ (August 19-20, 2023) — It may be rushing the season a little bit, but there’s nothing scary about the results of the Tim Morehouse Fencers at the Trick or Retreat RYC/RJCC.
Foil fencer Amabel Wang was a double medal winner, taking bronze in Y-12 Women’s Foil and Junior Women’s Foil, earning her C-23 rating.
Miles Chambers kicked off his 2023-2024 season with a gold medal in the Y-12 Men’s Saber event. TMFC teammates William Lucas (5th) and Aidan Song (8th) joined him on the medal stand.
The littlest fencers even made their marks. Luca Yang won gold in Y-8 Men’s Foil, while Crescent Yang earned third place. In Y-10 Men’s Saber, Leo Shapiro won silver.
Finally, Kenneth Chen won 8th place in Y-14 Men’s Foil.
Congratulations fencers, coaches and families.
