Ziad Elsissy is on Top of the World

Budapest, Hungary (March 24-26, 2023) — Ziad Elsissy has reached a new pinnacle.

The Tim Morehouse fencer and coach took sixth place at the Coupe de Monde. Elsissy, who fences for his native Egypt, finished just behind American Darryl Homer in a field of 212 fencers from across the globe.

This is the final international tournament before the qualifying process for the Paris 2024 Olympic Games starts.

Tim Morehouse fencer Eli Dershwitz finished in 19th place, while Coach “Fito” Western Reyes finished in 108th place.
