The Morehouse Youth Cup #5 is Coming: Are You Ready?

New York, NY (February 13, 2023) — How do you learn how to be a good competitor? You practice competing.

To take it further, testing skills at a local tournament is the way to learn to be a great competitor. Learning what it feels like to stand on the line when your referee calls, “Ready, fence!” is a skill. The more you do it, the better you start. Figuring out strategies for pool fencing versus direct elimination fencing can only be done while experiencing these types of bouts.

The Tim Morehouse Saber Youth Cup competitions are designed for young fencers to learn all of these skills and more.

The next opportunity to practice at the competition level is The Morehouse Saber Youth Cup #5, scheduled for Sunday, February 26, 2023 at Tim Morehouse Fencing Club in Manhattan. The Morehouse Saber Youth Cup #5 will feature Y-10 Mixed Saber and Y-14 Mixed Saber events. Please click HERE to register.

The next generation of great competitors is practicing their moves on strips around the tri-state area.
