Port Chester, NY (Dec 6, 2023) — Ethan Kim is on an upward trajectory.

He’s not even midway through the 2023-2024 season and he’s won five silver medals. And he’s improved his rating twice this year. His most recent win, silver in Cadet Men’s Saber at the December SYC in Richmond, VA, was a close one.

What you love about fencing: Embracing the excitement, relishing the thrill and making friends. 

Favorite tournament/bout and why:  During the November NAC Cadet Men’s Saber event, despite competing in challenging pools, I maintained focus and achieved a top-16 finish.

Interests outside of fencing: I love playing video games and hanging out with friends.
