Port Chester, NY (Dec 15, 2023) — Congratulations to Alina Zhang on her admission to Yale University.

This accomplished foil fencer will continue her impressive career, competing for the college team.

She plans to study molecular, cellular and developmental biology on the track to becoming a physician.

“I am very excited to be part of the team and to fulfill my dream to fence NCAA division one at Yale,” she shared. “I greatly appreciate the support of the club and my coaches, especially Coach Slava, my parents and teammates over the years.”

Zhang has had an incredible season so far, winning gold, silver and bronze medals in Junior Women’s Foil events. We’re excited to see what the future brings.
