Seth Edelman

Tel Aviv, Israel (July 17, 2022) — Tim Morehouse Fencer Seth Edelman won bronze at the 21st Maccabi Games.

Competing at the Leader Sports Center in Ganey Tikva, a suburb of Tel Aviv, Edelman was fifth after pools. He cruised easily to the semi-finals, winning his bout 15-5 in Junior Men’s Saber.

He narrowly missed the final round, falling 13-15 to Israel’s Ilan Denisenko. American Luca Berman (MFC) went on to beat Denisenko and win the gold medal.

The medal marks the first Maccabi Games medal won in TMFC history.

Edelman trains at Tim Morehouse Fencing Club, Manhattan. He is a recent graduate of Brooklyn Tech High School and will attend Brandeis University in the fall.

Congratulations Edelman and Team USA!
