Budapest, Hungary AND Eislingen, Germany (November 26-27, 2022) — Tim Morehouse fencers Shaun Kim and Alina Zhang both won bronze on the world stage.

Kim, a member of the Team USA delegation to the Men’s Saber World Cup in Eislington, Germany, was able to pull off his second international medal in two weeks. This time, he was part of the bronze medal-winning team. Last week, in Sofia, Bulgaria, his team won gold.

Zhang was a member of Team USA 2, which consisted of Jia Chen, Jaelyn Liu, Adeline Senic and Zhang. This group worked hard to also win bronze in Cadet Women’s Foil. Last week, in Nurenberg, Germany, this team came in fifth.

Individually, men’s saber fencers from Tim Morehouse just missed the top-64 with Kim in 67th place and Gabriel McCarthy in 70th.

In Cadet Women’s Foil, Tim Morehouse fencer Iris Yang came in 36th and Zhang, 41st.

Congratulations fencers, coaches and parents.
