East Brunswick, NJ (June 11, 2023) — William Lucas is a Youth-10 champion.

Lucas won the gold medal in Y-10 Men’s Saber at the Escrimeur Youth and Senior Sabre Cup 2022-2023 Finale.

Competing in a field of nine, Lucas had an easy walk through his pools and DEs until his final bout, in which he won 10-9. His Tim Morehouse Fencing Club teammate Theodore Jung also competed in this event, coming in ninth.

He was a double medal winner for the day, earning fifth place in Y-12 Men’s Saber. His teammate Elliott Lucas finished in 11th place out of 16 fencers.
