Seven Bronze Medals Were Earned at the Mission SYC

Rocky Point, NY (May 5-7, 2023) — Bronze it, baby.

Tim Morehouse fencers earned a record seven bronze medals at the Mission SYC, the last SYC of the season.

Always striving for the best, foil fencer Iris Yang bested all of her teammates by earning a silver medal in Y-12 Women’s Foil.

Bronze medals were earned by:

  • Ethan Chen, Y-12 Men’s Foil

  • Ethan Kim, Y-14 Men’s Saber

  • Aram Clark, Y-12 Men’s Saber

  • Michael Grigoriev, Y-10 Men’s Foil

  • Keira Lauri, Y-14 Women’s Saber

  • Grace Feng, Y-14 Women’s Foil

  • Marcus Avery, Y10 Men’s Saber

In addition, Sienna Young took seventh place in Y-10 Women’s Saber. Aram Clark won his second medal of the tourney, eighth place in Y-14 Men’s Saber. In Y-14 Women’s Foil, Zizi Dai took fifth and Ella Calise took sixth.
