Robert Wang, Nickolas Rusadze Win Medals at Junior, Cadet World Cups

Madrid, Spain (Dec 15-17, 2023) — Tim Morehouse Fencing Club is earning a lot of international bling these days.

Robert Wang won bronze at the FIE Junior Saber World Cup in Madrid. Teammate Shaun Kim finished in 26th place.

The week before, Nickolas Rusadze was part of the gold-medal-winning team in the FIE Cadet Foil World Cup in Cabries, France.

Also in Cabries, Rusadze finished 18th in individual competition. On the women’s side, TMFC foilists Iris Yang finished 13th and Ella Calise finished in 20th place. In teams competition, Yang’s team finished in fifth place, while Calise’s team finished in sixth place.

At the FIE Junior Foil World Cup in Bangkok, Thailand Dec 15-17, Rusadze finished in 28th place individually.

At the FIE Cadet Saber World Cup in Eislingen, Germany, Dec 9-10, TMFC’s Shaun Kim finished in ninth place while Robert Wang finished in 65th place.
