Grace Feng and Brendan Lee Earn Gold at the Cobra Challenge

Secaucus, NJ (Nov 24-26, 2023) — It was a gold medal weekend. Two, in fact.

First, Brendan Lee won gold in Y-14 Men’s Foil. In addition, this first-place win at the Cobra Challenge SYC/RCC/Y8, held at the Meadowlands Expo Center, allowed him to earn his B23 rating.

The young women foil fencers did double duty. Y-12 Women’s Foilist Grace Feng took gold, and then later bronze in Y-14 Women’s Foil. Tim Morehouse teammate Zizi Dai earned a fifth-place finish in the same event and also earned sixth place in Cadet Women’s Foil.

Kenneth Chen won a bronze medal in Y-12 Men’s Foil. Luca Yang finished in fifth place in Y-8 Men’s Foil. And Leon Shapiro made the medal stand in seventh place.
