Tim Morehouse Fencing Club Named a USA Fencing Club of Excellence

New York, NY (August 23, 2022) — Tim Morehouse Fencing Club has earned the USA Fencing’s Club of Excellence distinction.

Chosen in the category of Marketing and Communication, we were cited specifically for our promotion of the club and our members through social media and our content program.

From our application: “Every fencer is special and reaches milestones. For one fencer, summoning the gumption to compete at a regional event for the first time is on par with another fencer attempting to win a national title. All should be recognized, which is what we aim to do through our media.”

USA Fencing started the Club of Excellence Program in 2015 to honor the work being done at a grassroots level to grow and sustain fencing. “The program is an acknowledgment that every successful fencing journey begins when a fencer opens the door to their local club for the first time,” said USA Fencing in its program description.
