Elmsford's Sabrina Fang Finishes in Top-64 at World Fencing Championships

Cairo, Egypt (July 19, 2022) — Tim Morehouse Fencing’s Sabrina Fang made the top-64 at the World Championships.

Competing for her birth country, Canada, the teen finished in 41st place after being taken out in a direct elimination round by American Maia Weintraub, 3-15.

Fang came into the tournament seeded 49th. In pools, the teen went 5 for 6, leaving in 15th place and advancing to the top-64.

She trains at Tim Morehouse Fencing Club in Port Chester with Coach Slava Grigoriev.
