New to fencing or choosing your next step? Here are the essentials before you join us on the Upper West Side.
Do we need fencing experience or equipment?
No experience is needed to get started. Equipment is provided for the trial lesson and included with the Starter Pack.
Should we choose a trial lesson or Starter Pack?
A trial lesson is a first introduction to fencing and your coach. The Starter Pack includes 4 group classes and 4 pull-out lessons, with equipment included.
Your coach can help you choose the right group and next step.
Can we join after the season has started?
Yes. Enrollment is rolling during the September 2026–June 18, 2027 season. Choose your program and confirm available class times when booking.
Which class schedule should we use?
The schedule has separate tabs for Youth Saber, Elite Saber, Épée, and Teen & Adult Saber. Choose the tab for your program and confirm availability when booking. Elite training requires coach evaluation.
