Paying by check?
Semester and annual programs are paid by check — bring your check to the club.
Checks should be made payable to “Tim Morehouse Fencing Club” — please write the student name & program in the memo line to avoid any confusion.
Checks must be brought and deposited before we will begin scheduling lessons or classes for the upcoming season.

⏰ Class Cancellation Policy (24 Hours)

  • Cancel classes you cannot attend at least 24 hours ahead through TMFC Connect. Athletes are expected to notify the club in advance of absences for tournaments, travel, illness, or school commitments.
  • Club closure dates are built into tuition: planned closures (Winter Break week, the final week of June, tournament travel, school breaks) are already priced into the monthly rate.
  • Private lessons follow the 24-hour late-cancellation policy — lessons canceled less than 24 hours before start are normally forfeited.

Elite Program — Terms of Service

Scheduling & Attendance Policies
  • Unlimited access, flexible attendance: Elite Program members receive unlimited access to eligible classes and training opportunities. While attendance is flexible, athletes are expected to notify the club in advance when they will be absent due to tournaments, travel, illness, school commitments, or other scheduling conflicts.
  • Why notice matters: TMFC coaches plan instruction, staffing, lesson assignments, and class structure based on expected attendance. Advance notice allows us to better serve all athletes and effectively manage waitlists.
  • Repeated no-shows: athletes who repeatedly miss scheduled classes, recurring private lessons, or training sessions without notification may forfeit reserved lesson times or priority access to full classes, particularly during high-demand training periods.
  • This policy is especially important for recurring lesson times with coaches and prime-time training slots, which are often in high demand and may have active waitlists.
Elite + Tactics & Strategies Classes (Saber)
  • Participation in the Elite Saber program includes 1–2 small-group sessions per week, built into our Elite + Tactics & Strategies classes — the classes are generally longer, and small-group participation is mandatory.
  • Schedule: Mon & Wed Port Chester · Tue West Side · Thu East Side, with 4–5 elite coaches at each class. Elite Youth also have these classes.
  • No private lessons during these class times for students not at the class. If you cannot make the Elite + class that day, our Sports Performance + Footwork elite classes are generally available at the other locations.
Monthly Billing & Season Start
  • Families who enroll in a monthly membership prior to September 1 will be charged upon enrollment. The next billing date will occur 28 days after the athlete’s first scheduled visit of the new season.
  • Monthly memberships continue until cancelled in accordance with TMFC’s cancellation policy. Failure to attend classes, lessons, or training sessions does not constitute cancellation and does not stop future billing.
Priority Scheduling & Returning Athletes
  • Returning Elite Program athletes receive first priority for recurring private lesson times and training schedules for the upcoming season — followed by returning Youth Program athletes, before remaining lesson times are made available to new students.
  • August 1 deadline: to be included in priority scheduling for the upcoming season, returning athletes must submit their enrollment and payment by August 1. After August 1, any unclaimed lesson times, coach availability, and program openings may be offered to other students.
  • Recurring lesson times are not guaranteed and will not be reserved until enrollment and payment have been received.
  • While TMFC will make every effort to accommodate scheduling requests, lesson times are assigned based on coach availability, athlete training needs, and overall program capacity.
Membership
  • Memberships bill automatically until canceled through TMFC Connect at least 48 hours before your next billing date, and may not be paused or placed on hold. Camps and clinics are not included. See the full Terms of Service.
