New York, NY (August 20, 2021) — Tim Morehouse Fencing Club is proud to be not only one of the top fencing clubs in the country but the top club in producing scholar-athletes.
Twenty TMFC fencers have been named to USA Fencing’s All-Academic First Team. An additional fencer has been named to the Second Team.
The All-Academic First Team scholar-athletes earned a GPA of 3.85 or better. Second Team scholar-athletes are composed of fencers with a GPA between 3.4 and 3.84.
More than 250 clubs had at least one All-Academic Team member. Tim Morehouse Fencing Club tied with the Beverly Hills Fencers’ Club with the most fencers making the top cut. This group of high achievers are part of the biggest class in the history of the Absolute Fencing Gear All-Academic Team with almost 1,000 high school fencers honored.

About Tim Morehouse Fencing Club
Tim Morehouse Fencing Club (TMFC) was founded by Olympic silver medalist Tim Morehouse. The club provides training to athletes in New York City (since 2015), Westchester (since 2017), and Connecticut (since Aug 2021) in foil, épée, and saber.
