Windy City SYC was a Silver Medal Experience for TMFC Fencers

Deerfield, IL (September 23-25, 2022) — Tim Morehouse Fencing Club fencers earned silver in Chicago.

Those making the long trip were rewarded with silver medals and great experience.

Miles Chambers took silver in the Y012 Men’s Saber event, missing out on gold by two touches (13-15). Amabel Wang also won silver in Y-10 Women’s Foil in a tight bout, 10-8.

Brendan Lee made the trip to compete in Y-14 Men’s Foil, narrowly missing the medal stand, finishing in 10th place.

Wang made the most of her trip, fencing in two other events: Y-14 Women’s Foil where she finished at 32 and Y-12 Women’s Foil, where she finished 12th.
