Tim Morehouse Fencing Club is excited to announce the launch of our newest program! Saber is coming to Stamford, Connecticut at our Chelsea Piers location with Coach Bartek Florczak leading the way!

Tim Morehouse Fencing Club has one of the strongest saber programs in the country and adding a 3rd site with saber we feel will only add to the strength of the program. Coach Bartek was integral in the building of our Westchester location which now dominates Westchester Country in both foil and saber. He knows what it takes to develop and build a program and we look forward to advancing saber in Connecticut!
Our goal is to grow the sport of fencing in the area while creating the strongest Epee and Saber programs in Connecticut over the coming years.
Coach Ahmed Abdallah is already doing a wonderful job building our new Epee program which this past weekend fielded 5 fencers in competitive events in Connecticut including the TMFC hosted the 9-State Fencing Cup regional event that drew over 500 fencers to our Chelsea Piers Connecticut location to compete in foil, epee and saber in what was the first regional event hosted by TMFC.
We couldn’t be happier that TMFC alum Bartek Florczak has re-joined the team and that he will be bringing our brand of saber to Connecticut!
Over the coming years, we will be looking to open additional locations in Scarsdale and New Jersey but for now, our priority is getting our 3rd facility up to speed with our Manhattan and Westchester locations.
The club is already already serving students from athletes from New Canaan, Darien, Stamford, Fairfield County, Greenwich, Old Greenwich, Norwalk, South Norwalk, Westport, Wilton, Danbury and Fairfield with Epee and we hope to have more students fencing saber soon!
