New York, NY (May, 2019) - Our very own Coach Lance and Coach Melvin head to the Metropolitan Montessori School to give a fencing demo to Upper Elementary students. TMFC will be running classes here throughout the fall.

Melvin and Lance gave a brief history of fencing and outlined the basics of the sport. Then they invited a few students to bout, and even called on the school’s librarian, Ms. Mbaye, to come up and try to score a few touches. The class was blown away!

A great time was had by all. We can’t wait to continue fencing at the Metropolitan Montessori School.

Check out the video below, as well as a photo of the demonstration posted by the Metropolitan Montessori School’s instagram.
