Tim Morehouse Fencing's Madelon Rosenfeld Competes at Vet World Championships

Zadar, Croatia (October 8, 2022) — Madelon Rosenfeld faced the best in the world.

The foil fencer faced down some of the most impressive fencers in the Veteran 70 category at the FIE World Veteran Fencing Championships in Zadar, Croatia.

Representing the United States for the eighth time, Rosenfeld finished 12th in a field of 19 fencers. She was fourth in the team of four Americans in the event.

Rosenfeld emerged from pools with two wins and three losses to be seeded in 12th place. Unfortunately, she lost her first direct elimination bout to Great Britain’s Margaret Myers 10-7.

This fencer trains with Coach Slava Grigoriev at Tim Morehouse Fencing Club in Port Chester.

Congratulations to Rosenfeld and Coach Slava on her accomplishments.
