Philadelphia, PA (July 7, 2021) — William Morrill had an excellent end to his final Y-14 season.
Morrill capped off his medal-filled season with another one — this time Silver for the Y-14 Men’s Saber National Championship.
Teammate Finn Buchmann earned a 6th place finish, also in Y-14 Men’s Saber, along with his D21 rating.
In Women’s Vet-40 Foil, Tim Morehouse Fencing Club remote fencer Haivyl Lopez traveled from Florida to meet her coach, Dan Bass, in person for the first time. Secondly, she put in an excellent performance, earning a 5th place medal.

Next up at Summer Nationals will be Y-14 Women in all weapons — saber, épée and foil — and Women’s Veteran Saber Teams.
Summer National Championships and the July North American Cup runs from Saturday, July 3rd through Monday, July 12 at the Philadelphia Convention Center in the Market East section of Philadelphia, PA.
Tim Morehouse Fencing Club qualified and sent more than 60 fencers to compete in all three weapons from Y-12 to Veteran events.
