Monroe Township, NJ (Oct 16-17, 2021) — Foil fencers were in fine fiddle this weekend.
Tim Morehouse Fencing Club showed that its foil fencers are a force at the Jersey Clash RYC/RJCC this weekend, emerging with an impressive amount of medals.
Sabrina Fang took gold in Junior Women’s Foil and was joined on the medal stand by teammate Alina Zhang who got eighth. Brendan Lee earned gold in Y-12 Men’s Foil. Grace Feng took silver in Y-10 Women’s Foil.
Iris Yang took three medals — bronze in Y-14 Women’s Foil, fifth in Y-12 Women’s Foil and sixth in Cadet Women’s Foil. Zizi Dai earned her E 21 rating in Y-14 Women’s Foil, coming in 12th against some fierce competition. Jonah Lee also won bronze in Y-14 Men’s Foil.
