St. Louis MO (April 2021) — Gabriel McCarthy, a saber fencer at Tim Morehouse Fencing Club Manhattan, took a bronze medal in the Y14 men’s event at the Daugherty Youth Cup SYC, RJCC, ROC and VET.

Other Team Morehouse fencers taking honors were:

Amaya Javeri took sixth in the Y14 women’s saber event; and
Foilist Harini Thiruvengadam took sixth in the Division 2 women’s event.

Gabriel, an A21-rated fencer, trains with Coaches Melvin Rodriguez and Tim Morehouse. Amaya trains with Coach Achiko Lortkipanidze, and Harini trains with Coach Slava Grigoriev in Port Chester.
